Why Become a Member?
When you’re a member of Gulf Coast Community Federal Credit Union, you’re not a customer. You’re a member-owner in a financial cooperative with your best interest at heart. Because we’re not a bank, we aren’t in it for the money. Benefits of membership in a credit union include lower interest rates on loans, higher dividends earned on deposit accounts and convenient products and services tailored to meet your needs!
Eligibility
Gulf Coast Community Federal Credit Union membership is open to anyone who lives, works, worships, or attends school in Harrison, Hancock, Stone, or Jackson County. Additionally, any individual who participates in, or, are members of select associations may join GCCFCU. These associations include The American Legion, Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW), Friends of Jerry Lawrence Library Association, and the Mental Health Association of South Mississippi. Immediate family members of existing members are also eligible to join — including spouses, children, siblings, parents, grandparents, grandchildren, stepparents, stepchildren, step-siblings, adoptive family members, and anyone who helps maintain the household of an existing member.
